Pinche Pinche gets a 5 star rating

It’s official: Pinche Pinche has a very good standard of hygiene according to The Food Standards Agency (FSA) rating scheme.

We were given a very thorough inspection earlier this month by a food safety inspector from Leeds City Council: he checked how well we met legal requirements by looking at how we prepare, cook, re-heat, cool and store food; the cleanliness of the restaurant; and, how we manage and record what we do to make sure food is safe. It’s a national scheme, which means you can directly compare us to other participating establishments across the country. The FSA scheme runs in much the same way as the previous ‘Scores on the Doors’ and is run in partnership with Leeds City Council.

We take hygiene and food safety very seriously here at Pinche and we hope the 5 star rating will give you confidence in what we do. Of course, the rating does not tell you how good our food is – you’ll just have to come along and try it!
